Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly Finally Won The Award For Her Role As Beth Dutton, With Hussey Harrison and Others Sharing Enthusiastic Reactions

Yellowstone fans haven’t had much confirmed and irrefutably positive news in recent months, and behind-the-scenes issues have hit the headlines as the wait for the remaining episodes of Season 5 continues. Fortunately, we still have reasons to celebrate the success of the show to date: star Kelly Reilly not only received recognition for her always stellar performance as Beth Dutton, but actually won the award for which she was nominated. Greetings to Beth! (And Rip, but Cole Hauser is understandably not a part of that.)

Reilly was one of many women honored this week as part of the 48th annual Gracie Awards organized by the Women in Media Alliance, an organization founded back in 1960 to recognize women innovators in radio and television. A long and strong list of noteworthy creative people, journalists and others was noted in the list of winners of 2023, and the English actress received the Gracie Award for best Dramatic role. Now all the other award ceremonies can follow suit and act as if they were the first to recognize Beth Dutton’s greatness.

Kelly Reilly took to Instagram to share the important news with her followers, expressing her appreciation with the following caption:

Thank you @allwomeninmedia for this. It is a great honor for me to be counted among you #thegracies

As expected, after the actress shared her big win on social media, colleagues from the film in the past and present joined her through comments, as well as many other friends and followers. Hassie Harrison, who recently donned a cute heart-shaped outfit to support her country-singing boyfriend Ryan Bingham, shared congratulations for Reilly, and at least four other Yellowstone actors also reached out, as well as the better half of co-creator Taylor Sheridan. Nicole Sheridan.

  • Hassie Harrison: yes, queen!!!!!! ✨💖👏
  • Ian Bohen: 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
  • Wendy Moniz: Bravo Kelly! ❤️
  • Finn Little: 👏👏👏👏👏 Well done @mzkellyreilly x
  • Dave Annable: Yes!!! So well deserved!!! ❤️❤️
  • Nicole Sheridan: 👏👏👏👏👏❤️

Reilly doesn’t have many scenes with Laramie Harrison, Ian Boehner’s Ryan or Wendy Moniz’s Lynelle, and Dave Annable rarely appeared as the late Lee Dutton, so it’s all the more surprising to see how these actors spread love. Finn Little, who plays the aging Carter so quickly, is at the opposite end of this spectrum, having shot a large number of his own scenes with her. Just don’t call her his “mom.”

It wasn’t just the Yellowstone buddies who spoke kind words to Reilly. Former TV host, creator of “True Detective” Nick Pizzolatto also turned to us, as did the star of the first season, Michelle Monaghan.

  • Nic Pizzolatto: ✨👏👏👏👏✨
  • Michelle Monaghan: 🔥🔥

Quite a few other celebrities have also reached out to us, including Loki fan favorite Richard E. Grant (who is obviously known not only for the MCU series), Jack Ryan’s Michael Kelly, and Mallrats veteran Claire Forlani.

  • Richard E. Grant: So deserved. BRAVO! 🙌👏👏👏👏
  • Michael Kelly: Congratulations!!
  • Claire Forlani: Finally 👏👏👏

The Gracie Award was held on Tuesday, May 23, and the next day the celebration was held among subscribers, and many talented and worthy women received recognition for their efforts last year. As for writing a screenplay on television, Kelly Reilly wasn’t actually even the only actress from the Yellowstone universe series to earn a win, as 1883 star Faith Hill won the award for Supporting Actress-Limited Series for her work as Margaret Dutton.

Ironically, despite the fact that “Yellowstone” has become one of the most popular shows on television over the past few years, Reilly’s win in “Gracie” marks one of the very few awards that a western drama has received so far. Although Kevin Costner had previously voiced his desire to receive an Emmy Award for the role of John Dutton, the actor received a Golden Globe for this (despite the fact that the show was not mentioned in his acceptance speech). Otherwise, the Paramount Network series received the Cinema Audio Society 2022 Award for Outstanding achievements in sound mixing for television series - one hour.

With more upcoming shows in Yellowstone, including the last six episodes of its final season, there are plenty of chances to get more awards. So we’re hoping that Kelly Reilly can start the series.
