Pet Shop Boys will share four previously unreleased songs in April as part of their latest album Annually.

The 2023 edition will be released as a 64-page hardcover edition with diary entries and unpublished photos from the first leg of the Dreamworld Greatest Hits tour, which began last year and will continue in 2023.

Also included is a four-track CD called “Lost”, which includes four songs recorded in 2015 during the sessions for the band’s “Super” album. It will be released on April 15.

According to Neil Tennant (from a series of tweets on the band’s official account), tracks titled “The Lost Room”, “I Will Fall”, “Skeletons In The Closet” and “Kaputnik” were excluded from “Super”. not because we didn’t like them, but because they didn’t fit the album.”

Tennant added that they are now recording an EP together because “they all fit together pretty well in terms of production, they’re all super electronic” and “some of them are kind of relevant to the world at the moment.”

Regarding ‘The Lost Room’, the quasi-title track of the EP, Tennant added, “It also seems to represent something more, philosophical or political, where there have been times lately when the world has felt a little lost in terms of the direction it’s moving in.”
