OPPO A55s 5G was introduced with a 6.5-inch screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate. The price of the phone has also been revealed.
OPPO introduced the entry-level and affordable A55s 5G model. Powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core processor incorporating a 5G modem, the smartphone stands out with its 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The starting price of the OPPO A55s, which comes with the combination of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, which we are used to in entry-level devices, is under $ 300.
OPPO A55s 5G features
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. This 8-core processor, which goes through the 8nm production process, provides 5G connection support to OPPO A55s thanks to the Snapdragon X51 Modem. We have also seen Snapdragon 480 running at 1800-2000 MHz and supporting Adreno 619 GPU on devices such as Nokia X10, Vivo Y31s, Nokia G50.
OPPO A55s 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. This screen with a depth of 16.7 million colors supports 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. With a brightness of up to 550 nits, the smartphone has a pixel density of 405 and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3. OPPO A55s weighs 178 grams, is 8.2mm thick, 74.7mm wide and 162.1mm high.
The OPPO A55s 5G, which has a 13 Megapixel wide angle (f / 2.2) + 2 Megapixel depth sensor (f / 2.4) on the back, includes an 8 Megapixel selfie camera on the front. The smartphone, which can record 1080 x [email protected] video, also includes Digital Image Stabilizer (EIS) technology. It also supports modes like Ultra Night Mode, Portrait Mode and AI Scene Enhancement.
OPPO A55s 5G, which comes out of the box with Android 11-based ColorOS 11 preloaded, has a 4000 mAh battery. Other features of the phone include; face recognition, proximity sensor, accelerometer, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). In addition to these, the USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack are also located on the case of the device.
OPPO A55s 5G price
OPPO will put the A55s on sale in Japan on November 26 with a price tag of $295. It is not yet known when it will arrive in other countries.
