The French striker and the alleged target of Manchester United, Marcus Thuram, told Paris Saint-Germain that he would not link his future with them, which is a serious incentive for the Red devils.

Last month, Thuram announced his intention to leave Borussia Monchengladbach and become a free agent.

United are said to be interested in his services after failing to get his signature in January.

Erik ten Hag is still looking for a striker and Thuram’s availability means he is an option for the Dutchman who works on a tight budget.

The Peoples Person published a report indicating that Milan is nearing a deal for the 25-year-old footballer.

According to L’Équipe, PSG, who are also fans of the scorer, have been informed that he will not move to the Parc des Princes.

L’Équipe confirms that Thuram will definitely not sign a contract with the champions of Ligue 1. The decision from Thuram’s camp was announced this afternoon.

Earlier today, Sky Sports Germany, via The Daily Mail, said that Milan is leading the race for Thuram .

“Milan is currently behind the wheel to secure his services for next season,” the statement said.

“RB Leipzig has also expressed interest in the hope that the striker will decide to stay in Germany.”

“Thuram has also been linked with a move to the Premier League, where Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in his services.”

Milan offered the Frenchman an entry fee of more than 8.6 million pounds and a salary of about 82,000 pounds a week.

Thuram would be a good acquisition for United, given that they would not have to pay a transfer fee for him. Last season he managed to score 13 goals in 30 Bundesliga matches for Monchengladbach. He also made six assists.
