J-Hope from BTS to Billboard Hot 100 with its Chicken Noodle Soup. Jung Hoseok, best known by BTS’s ARMY as J-Hope, is the third K-Pop artist to enter the Hot 100.
J-Hope’s tasty “Chicken Noodle Soup” (one of BTS’s three rappers) in collaboration with American singer Becky G, continues to give her excellent satisfactions. The trilingual song has entered one of Billboard’s most coveted lists: the Hot 100!
Billboard revealed that “Chicken Noodle Soup” debuted at number 81 in the Hot 100 during the week of October 12, before this, J-Hope is the third solo artist of K-pop to enter the Hot 100, the other two Artists are PSY and CL. This achieved joins others more than Hobi obtained with this sticky theme. As the ARMY will remember, shortly after the release the song took over the main lists of iTunes songs worldwide.
He is the first member of BTS to debut in the Hot 100 with a solo song.

Billboard also reported: “J-Hope wins his second solo race No. 1 in the World Digital Song Sales (sales of world digital songs) with ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’, first reached number 1 with a solo song with ‘Daydream ‘in March 2018 “.
On the other hand, BTS Idol became the second Korean solo artist to enter the Top 100 of the official UK singles list. According to Nielsen Music data, “Chicken Noodle Soup” achieved 9.7 million broadcasts in the United States, as well as 11 thousand downloads from September 28 to October 4.

J-Hope stressed that Becky G understood from the beginning what this musical project was about. “I would like to thank all our fans for their love, all the staff that did so much for this project, all the amazing dancers who reminded me again of the passion I had when I was young.”
