Xbox and Bethesda are going to host a Developer Direct live stream today (January 25) — find out how to watch below.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct “will provide fans with an inside look at some of the games that will appear on Xbox, PC and Game Pass over the next few months.”

Steam will also include “the latest information on Xbox games to be launched in the next few months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall.”

The show is scheduled to start today at 20:00 GMT (12:00 Pacific Time / 15:00 Eastern Time / 9:00 Central European Time) and will be available to watch on Twitch and Youtube along with the embedded video below.

Players expect that the release dates of Forza Motorsport and Redfall will be announced during the Developer Direct live broadcast thanks to the description of the Xbox Germany event.

“For developers, the focus will be on amazing features, extensive gameplay demonstrations and the dates of the first joint release of great Xbox games that will be released in the next few months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall,” the message says.

Redfall was supposed to be released last summer, but was postponed, as was Starfield, in order to give players “the best, most perfect versions of them.” Since then, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has said it’s “the right thing to do.”

Both games are due to be released in the first half of 2023, however, no information about Starfield will be revealed during tonight’s Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct after it was confirmed that a separate specific Starfield event will be announced later.

In other news, the release of The Day Before was postponed for 8 months after the developer Fntastic allegedly failed to register the name of the game as a trademark.

A gameplay trailer was also due to be released later this month, giving players a first look at The Day Before from 2021, but it was also affected by legal issues. However, it will be released “as soon as possible”.
