Manchester United have taken the first step towards signing Monaco central defender Axel Disasi.
This is not the first time that Disasi has been associated with the “red devils”. Some time ago, the publication Peoples Person reported that United is a fan of the Frenchman and doubts the future of Harry Maguire.
Maguire is expected to stay at Old Trafford this month, but his long-term future at United is not guaranteed.
A number of clubs in England have already shown interest in the United skipper, including Aston Villa and West Ham.
However, club executives have remained steadfast in their determination that Maguire is still part of Erik ten Hag’s plans, at least until the summer.
Telefoot reports that, along with United, Bayern Munich is also showing interest in Disasi.
“Axel Disasi is followed by Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
“Contact is established”
“But the vice-world champion should stay in Monaco until the end of the season.”

The 24-year-old will be a good acquisition for the 20-time champions of England. It is widely known as one of the brightest avenues in France.
On average, he makes a tackle, three takeaways and two interceptions per game. Disasi is also a dominant midfield defender in the air. In the current season of Ligue 1, he won 75% of his fights in the air.
The player will definitely become a Maguire upgrade. They say that Monaco is ready to part with his services for 50 million euros.
For comparison, a few weeks ago Chelsea forked out 38 million euros for Benoit Badiashiel, and the former Monaco star immediately took up the case at Stamford Bridge.
