AliExpress, the e-commerce of Chinese giant Alibaba, released the details of the store’s participation in the Brazilian Black Friday.
For this Friday (26), the site promises discounts of up to 70%, with an average price 39% lower than on other similar sites located in Brazil. In addition, many products that usually have shipping value built into the final price will be delivered free of charge.
Another novelty involves purchasing logistics: Aliexpress will have another weekly flight connecting Brazil to the platform’s main suppliers of international products. With this sixth plane, deliveries of electronics, clothes, toys and other items arrive in the country within seven days.
It is also worth remembering that this is Aliexpress’s first Black Friday with the participation of Brazilian storekeepers, who have had their purchases monitored by the platform since August 2021. It is possible that products sold on 11.11, known as the “Chinese Black Friday”, will return to appear with flashy prices.
Despite having presented a satisfactory performance to date, sales were below expectations — and the result was the lowest revenue growth in years for Alibaba.
